Improving occupational safety and health in SMEs: examples of effective assistance

The case-study report presents an overview of 18 initiatives and programmes carried out in 14 Member States and including a broad variety of good practice examples, from well-known concepts to innovative schemes, covering national, regional and sectoral levels. These voluntary initiatives are aimed at different target groups, support enterprises in campaigning as well as carrying out risk assessments, or provide guidance for specific occupations or expert assistance.
