The objective of the study is to lead to better informed, more evidence-based political decisions. The study describes, compares and analyses the different ways in which social impact assessment is currently carried out in the EU Member States. On basis of this analysis, it draws recommendations for the implementation of effective social impact assessment systems and for effective social impact analysis
