The preferable language for the WP C.S.D.L.E. "MASSIMO D’ANTONA"_INT
series is British English.
Manuscripts must be submitted in word-compatible format, i.e. “.doc” or “.rtf”.
There are no limits of length. Titles should be as short as possible, simple and
easily understood. Graphs and figures have to be included in the submitted main
text file and should be in one of the usual formats, preferably in .gif or .bpm
format; please make sure that the graphics are small enough to fit an A4 page,
otherwise they have to be downsized and may lose readability.
Kindly differentiate between levels of headings in your text (i.e. use numbered
headings, or use capitals for headings, bold for subheadings, and italic for
sub-subheadings).
Manuscripts must include an abstract of maximum 300 words in UK English, and
4-10 keywords (please refer to EUROVOC
thesaurus as
first choice).
After manuscripts have been accepted, Authors are invited to complete their
profile, with their affiliation and e-mail address.
Authors should preferably use the Chicago Manual of
Style .
Other citation systems (e.g. the Harvard
reference system ,
the legal standard Harvard
Bluebook or
the Oxford
Standard are
accepted as long as they are used consistently.
Formal errors and opinions expressed in the papers are the responsibility of the
Author. Authors are also responsible for obtaining formal permission to use
third part copyrighted materials and for any consequential obligations.
Links, including deep links, to the WP C.S.D.L.E. "MASSIMO D’ANTONA" series are
permitted. The Centre for the Study of European Labour Law “MASSIMO D’ANTONA”
would appreciate information on these links. Maintenance of the accuracy of the
link is the third party’s responsibility.

Submission guidelines
With effect from May 2012, publication of the submitted papers in the WP
C.S.D.L.E. “MASSIMO D’ANTONA” will follow a double track.
A) Papers submitted as pre-print or post-print of essays published or to be
published elsewhere will not be subjected to any peer review procedure
B) Original papers intended to be published only in the WP C.S.D.L.E. “MASSIMO D’ANTONA” series, shall be marked with an asterisk (*) and shall be submitted to peer review procedure, according to the rules indicated below
Peer review policy (only for * titles)
The selection of the referees is up to the editors and takes into account
competence and previous experience in reviewing papers for the WP C.S.D.L.E.
“MASSIMO D’ANTONA” series.
Each paper is first assessed by two of the editors of the editorial board and,
if it is judged suitable for publication in the WP C.S.D.L.E. “MASSIMO D’ANTONA”
series, it is sent to at least one external referee. Authors are normally
notified of the outcome of the review process within one month after submission;
in the case of revisions suggested by the referees, Authors are expected to send
revised manuscripts within one month of the request.
Please check if the following steps have been taken with regard to the text and
the file properties: - the authors of the document have deleted their names from
the text, with "Author" and year used in the references and footnotes, instead
of the authors' name, article title, etc.; - with Microsoft Office documents,
author identification should also be removed from the properties for the file
(see under File in Word), by clicking on the following, beginning with File on
the main menu of the Microsoft application: File > Save As > Tools (or Options
with a Mac) > Security > Remove personal information from file properties on
save > Save; - with PDFs, the authors' names should also be removed from
Document Properties (found under File on Adobe Acrobat's main menu).
