WP C.S.D.L.E. “Massimo D’Antona”.IT – 427/2020

The paper analyses the current Covid-19 crisis, about its genesis and the effects determined by the pandemic.
The author deals with the contingent measures taken to face the crisis and with the possible longer-term strategies of institutional actors, companies and social partners.
As it has always happened in the history of Italy, two different options lay on the table: starting from the crisis to engage in a profound process of social change governed by public institutions but which crosses the society as a whole; or risking to incur in the umpteenth wasted opportunity, perhaps in the name of a recurring Gattopardismo.
The match is all played on the Labour law front.
