This essay provides state-of-the art information about the current decision making process regarding the Commission proposal on adequate minimum wages in the European Union. According to the declared intention of the French EU Council Presidency, the process will be completed in the first semester of 2022, but a number of questions still have to be discussed in the Trilogue interinstitutional negotiations.
