The paper analyses the impact of the green transition on the european economies and underlines the need of commonmpublic policies to supportthe riconversion of many economic sectors and of the employed workers.
It argues that beyond the announcements the interventions of the Union are imbalanced between measures of economic stabilization and measures of social protection and of support to collective bargaining and participation.
More Union resources and competences are needed in order to overcome the hystorical decoupling between economic and social measures which risk to foster the opposition to the green transiti
