The essay analyzes the problems concerning the protection of survivors, even in the light of the adoption of law no. 76/2016 concerning de facto couples. After a recontruction of the insitution the A., trough an ongoing dialogue between civil and social security cathegories, first examines the issues related to the more uxorio partnerships, then reflects on the general aporias that afflict the protection of survivors, proposing possible solutions.
