JM Chair S.E.E.D. Sustainability, Ethics, ESG and Diligence: The Implementation of European Directives
The organisers invite submissions for a seminar devoted to corporate due diligence in Europe and beyond. The event will examine the evolution of due diligence obligations following the adoption of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), as well as the changes brought by the recent Omnibus package (and in particular Directive EU n. 2026/470). We are also welcome contributions addressing alternative legal models that, even in the absence of specific due diligence legislation, seek to advance corporate responsibility across supply chains, such as the Public Civil Action recently employed by the Brazilian Labour Prosecutor’s Office.
The seminar aims to bring together scholars of labour law, comparative private law, business and human rights.
