Ripensare impresa e lavoro nella prospettiva post- liberale
WP C.S.D.L.E. “Massimo D’Antona”.IT – 498/2025

L’articolo costituisce la riduzione di un saggio, più ampio e di taglio giuslavoristico, di prossima pubblicazione nel Giornale di diritto del lavoro e relazioni industriali n. 4 2025

This paper proposes a reinterpretation of the relationship between business and labur in light of the crisis of the liberal paradigm and the emergence of a post-liberal sensibility. Starting from a diagnosis of the technocratic, identitarian, and nihilistic tendencies that pervade contemporary political and legal thought, it outlines a proposal based on the reconstruction of community bonds, the dignity of work as a relational and generative activity, and business as a civic institution. From this perspective, labor law can once again become an instrument of substantive democracy and a legal architecture for the common good. Far from being a regressive utopia, post-liberalism proposes a social order based on rootedness, reciprocity, and participation, capable of responding to the dual crisis—material and symbolic—of late-capitalist modernity. In this renewed cultural context, the social and political left can attempt to rethink itself and its strategies.
