La flexicurity dell’Unione europea: appunti per la riforma del mercato del lavoro in Italia

WP C.S.D.L.E. "Massimo D'Antona" .IT - 141/2012

After a short resume about the history and recent implementation of Flexicurity policies in the main EU States, the A. analyses the consequences of those policies on the current and forthcoming reforms of Italian labour market. Many issues are examined, but the attention is focused on the reform of economic dismissals and the related proceedings. The conclusions are that European Flexicurity does not bind to deeply reform the Italian legislation on dismissals, though it is useful to provide some modification about the notion of economic dismissals and the length of proceedings.
